This evening I went to help out my good mate Chris, who had a computer problem. He is a barrister, and it was the first time I had ever actually been inside his chambers. It was exactly what you would expect, walls lined with wooden shelves filled with hundreds of volumes of law books.

I saw his wig. I needed a photo of it. At Chris’ suggestion one was taken. You probably can’t recognise the guy in the photo, but it is me! The purpose of a barrister’s wig is to conceal their identity so that Bad People that they “send to gaol” can’t accost them on the street.
