Samson William Rose was born this evening at 20:13 (GMT+11). He weighs 3.62kg and is 53cm long. Both Michelle (his mother, my sister) and Samson are doing well.
I called them and I heard his first sneeze. I am here in London, so I missed some of the excitement, but with a combination of IM, Skype and SkypeOut I managed to almost be there.
I will be his favourite uncle.

Darryn that’s great news, congratulations on becoming an uncle (and the favourite one at that). Good to hear mum and child are well- I’m sure Luke and Michelle are over the moon.
